Essay on Poland
I lived in Poland for fourteen years. The part of Poland where I lived was called Slupsk, in the north of Poland. It has a beautiful cathedral. My grandfather and some aunts and uncles still live in Poland. In this essay I will write some important facts about Poland.
The capital of Poland is called Warsaw. There are many shops, restaurants and museums in Warsaw. Poland has a population of about thirty eight million people.
Some of the neighbouring countries are Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovenia. The main religion in Poland is Catholicism.
Poland has a beautiful landscape. There are many mountains. One famous range of mountains is the Tatra range. The longest river in Poland is the Wisla. There is also an impressive lake district in the Masurian region of the country.
I think Poland is a beautiful country because it has amazing scenery of mountains and forests. It is similar to Scotland because of its scenery. My favourite part of Poland is Ustka. I have been there on holiday. It has a beautiful beach. I also have family who live in Ustka.
